Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body. Acupuncture activates the parasympathetic system (“rest and digest” state) so that deep healing can occur.

Fire Cupping

Fire cupping involves placing glass or plastic cups on the skin and creating a vacuum inside them by briefly heating the air inside the cup with a flame before placing it on the skin. As the air cools, it creates suction, causing the skin to be drawn up into the cup. This suction effect promotes blood circulation and relieves muscle tension.

Gua Sha

Gua sha involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool, often made of jade. This can create light bruising/redness called "sha," which is believed to help release stagnant energy and promote circulation to alleviate muscle tension. The treatment may leave temporary marks on the skin that fade within a few days.

Tuina 

Tuina is believed to be the oldest form of bodywork. Tuina is a form of massage used in Chinese Medicine that is believed to be the oldest form of bodywork to exist. Tuina promotes relaxation, alleviates muscle pain, and can help increase range of motion.
