Meet the Doctor

Dr. Denise Ho is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist passionate about helping others heal and thrive. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Cal State LA and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences, achieving the highest level of training in her field—held by only 1% of acupuncturists. She is double board certified by the California Acupuncture Board and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Ho’s doctoral research explored how electro-acupuncture can alleviate chronic migraines, showing its potential to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.

Dr. Ho’s journey into Chinese medicine began with a personal health struggle during her childhood. After months of ineffective treatments from Western medicine, she turned to a Chinese medicine doctor, and within two weeks of taking herbal medicine, her health transformed. This life-changing experience inspired her to study in Shanghai and ultimately pursue a career helping others restore balance and well-being through acupuncture and holistic care. She’s dedicated to providing personalized treatments that honor each patient’s unique journey and goals.
