Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine sterile needles into specific points on the body to activate the body's natural healing mechanism. Our acupuncture protocols stimulate the release of endorphins, which are natural pain-relieving chemicals in the body. This promotes relaxation and reduces stress.

Acupuncture is an excellent option for pain, reproductive care, allergies, digestive issues, anxiety and depression, insomnia, supportive cancer care, post-operative care (the list goes on).

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine can be used in conjunction with acupuncture and other modalities to restore equilibrium and support the body's natural healing processes. It is commonly used to address a wide range offer although conditions, including respiratory disorders, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, musculoskeletal problems, skin conditions, and emotional well-being. Herbal prescriptions are tailored to each individual's unique constitution and health condition, and their formulation may vary over the course of treatment as the patient's condition changes.

Chinese herbal medicine may be prescribed in capsules or tea/granules for ingestion or tinctures/creams for topical application.

Fire Cupping

If you have tight, sore muscles that's causing you pain, try fire cupping! Cupping creates microtrauma to the skin/blood vessels, forcing the body to rebuild and send blood to the area, increasing circulation and relieving tension. During a fire cupping session, the cups are typically left in place for a few minutes or may be moved around the treatment area. After the cups are removed, temporary marks or bruise-like discoloration may appear on the skin, which usually fades within a few days.

Fire cupping involves the use of glass or bamboo cups to create suction on the skin. Fire cupping typically begins by placing a flammable substance, such as alcohol-soaked cotton, inside a cup and igniting it. the flame is then briefly inserted into the cup, creating a vacuum. The cup is quickly placed onto the skin, where the suction pulls the skin and underlying tissues into the cup.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture, also known as facial acupuncture or acupuncture facelift, is a specialized form of acupuncture that targets the face and neck area. It involves the insertion of fine needles into specific acupuncture points on the face, which are believed to stimulate blood circulation, promote collagen production, and improve the overall tone and texture of the skin. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tighten sagging skin, and improve facial muscle tone. It gives the skin a "dewy" appearance.
